Live Accurist Talking Clock

I thought of a radio ad for Accurist. A while back we convinced them to drop the sponsorship of the talking clock to start their own initiative. British Real Time. A clock dedicated to real British people. To give them real cultural meaning and relevance. As part of this I came up with these radio ads.

Live Radio Ads

Live Accurist talking clock radio ads broadcast at the exact GMT time, inbetween music.
Each ‘time’ is spoken in a different regional accent. Brummy, Yorkshire, Bristolian…

BRUMMY VO: At the third honk, the Accurist Clock says it’s 16:23 GMT.
A good time to enjoy a stroll along the Broad Street canal and avoid all the New Street Big Wigs.

………………………………………………………………………………………………….

STAFFORDSHIRE VO: At the third beep, the Accurist Clock says it’s 12:10 GMT.
A perfect moment for a North Staffordshire Oat Cake while counting yellow cars.

………………………………………………………………………………………………….

LONDON VO: At the third dink, the Accurist Clock says it’s 07:15 GMT.
Not a bad time to avoid the guards at Liverpool St Station.

………………………………………………………………………………………………….

There would be a huge series of these all spoken in different regional accents, that could also filter into a Accurist digital clock, shop displays, products.

………………………………………………………………………………………………….

The time sponsored by Accurist is 09:56GMT
A good time to convince someone else a fresh brew is in order.

The time sponsored by Accurist is 12.56GMT
Lunch time yet? No not quite.

The time sponsored by Accurist is 18.24GMT
A glass of Rosé and online window shopping begins

The time sponsored by Accurist is 19.14GMT
The right time to avoid the CCTV cameras in Snow Hill. For a bit of nooky maybe.

An old poster I did for True Blood.

Flat Pack Tee

iPhone Divining Rod

Not another iPhone app? Yes! Aren’t there too many in the world? Umm… no.

This is an app where you can choose to locate ‘That Water‘ (swimming pools, drinking fountains, ponds) or the fruit drink ‘This Water‘ (where This Water is sold).

The divining rod leads you to the nearest source, vibrating more and more the closer you get.

Idea: Make Monday The Best Day

What? Monday? – get out of here. No one wants you! You’re trampling shit all through the house. Ha, ha only joking. No, come on in. I have an strategisation that’ll help you be loved by all and sunder.

Stage 1. Deception – Discredit the other days.

Stage 2. Positive Affirmation – Tell everyone I know how much I love Mondays. Even when I don’t.

Stage 3. Promotion – Give money away on Monday. It will be known as Moneyday.

May need more thought.

Freebie Fruit Finder

A little app designed to help you find free fruit – blackberries in the woods or apples that people are happy for you to pick.

Tesseract Font

A font I developed based on the Alex Garland book.

Friendy Neighbourhood Gumtree

Jon Plackett and I worked on a few rough ideas for Gumtree. We liked this one.

We would also build a pop up shop. However it would have a tree inside it that would project different listings from the website.

My wedding Thank you card

A card to celebrate my wife taking the Hinchion name. Came with a CD of music from the day.

Take Stock Logo

A logo I developed for a new stock photography industry periodical/blog. Made using, then distorting, 3D software. Then traced in Illustrator. Wow – that’s the geekiest thing I’ve ever written on this site. Boobs! Phew. Think I saved it at the end there.
