DICE ENGINE
PROBLEM:
A colleague was launching a new blog and brand around discovering the best hidden gems in tabletop games. But with a no nonsense attitude to it.
SOLUTION:
They already had a name, they just needed a brand. A brand that expressed the sense of excitement and joy of finding and playing a new game. A mark that championed table top games and had a bit of attitude and playfulness. A hand, the engine, getting ready to roll the dice and experience the outcome.
ROLE:
Creative Director, Designer
There’s more than one type of die
EARLY CONCEPT
While exploring different concepts, I did come up with this simpler design which would work very well. However, I preferred the energy and rebellious nature of the hand holding the die and the hand or person being the engine.
